As part of its efforts to promote safety and security in the use of the internet by women, the Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD) with support from the Association for Progressive Communications (APC) is planning a capacity building training for women on safety and security on the net and countering of online gender-based violence. The two-day training will equip participants not only the skills and knowledge and to strategies for combating gender-based violence online but also turn them into facilitators to provide similar training to other women.
