Ex-commissioner lauds CITAD over inspirational leadership lectures

The former commissioner Jigawa State Ministry of Women Affairs, Hajiya Fatima Widi Jalo has commended the Centre for Information and Technology Development for organising series of inspirational leadership lectures for teeming youths in the state.
Hajiya Jalo made the commendation yesterday while delivering her speech during the event held at CITAD head office Dutse the state capital.
The former commissioner who quarried youths of being reluctant urged them to wake-up and copy our elders whom work-hard before making Jigawa State where it is today.
“It is unfortunate that majority of our teeming youths of today are so reluctant and dependent on others which is so bad and a great threat for their future and the state at large”,
“Therefore I called on our youths to wake-up to work hard and copy from our patriotic elders for their betterment, so that the country would proud of them in the future” Jalo said.
While making his remarks, the acting executive director of CITAD Alhaji Ahmad Abdullahi Yakasai said, the purpose of organising the lecture is to inspired a good leadership behaviour to the youth for a better future of the country.
According to him, it is right time for youths to understand that a better life in present situation is not for lazy, therefore everyone has to work hard and copy from exemplary leaders like former commissioner Widi Jalo.
He commended the participants whom majority are secondary and higher institutions’ students from the state, adding that CITAD will do more for the benefit of the state.
