Computer programming is an in-demand and lucrative career path, so parents may hope their children grow up to be software programmers. If you want your kids to learn how to program, where do you start from?
CITAD KIDHACKS is a program designed to teach secondary school students between the ages of 13 - 18yrs computer programming, to enable them create simple apps and solve mathematical and scientific problems.
The KIDHACKS will use Scratch to teach them how to program and also we will use Google Blocky in order to enable them understand different syntax of programming language so that they can compare and understand the different format of each language.
Objectives of the KIDHACKS
The objective of CITAD KIDHACKS is to:
a. Introduce young minds to the world of computer programming.
b. Help them understand the syntax of different programming languages.
c. Expose them to different online platforms where they can widen their knowledge in coding.
d. Help them develop more interest in computer programming.
The KIDHACKS will be offered in CITAD Kano with students selected from different secondary schools (both private and public schools) across Kano Metropolis.
The KIDHACK Programme is open to secondary school students both male and females between the ages of 13yrs – 18yrs
The duration of the programme is 4weeks
