The Center for Information Technology and Development (CITAD) with support from PeaceTech Lab has commenced a technology training for civil society organizations working in the area of Hate Speech and Peace Building. The training scheduled to last for three days is aimed at equipping the participants with technology tools that can be used to combat hate speech online and champion the cause of peace. The participants will receive hands-on training on technology tools and skills of combating hate speech online from the carefully selected trainers. Day one of the training focused on which tech tools are effective in addressing hate speech online as well as how they are used, different breakout sessions were also facilitated by the trainers around the theme of the workshop
