Participants were training on use of the internet, blogging, wiki and setting up and maintain of discussion lists. Training was facilitated by Malam Mukhar Sulaiman Umar and Malam Abdulrahid Sadiq, both of CITAD. Ten journalists from various media organization in the state benefited from the programme.

This was the second round of such training for journalists under the programme. The first training was held for journalists in Kano where 12 journalists were trained both on basic computer skills and online tools.
